Vedica.ai (“Vedica”, “we”, “us”) is an independent public guide to Central Government schemes in India. We are not a government body, bank, or implementing agency. If you have a privacy question, use our Contact page.
This policy covers the Vedica.ai website and the free eligibility check we offer on it. When you leave Vedica to apply on an official portal, that portal’s own privacy policy applies.
When you use the free eligibility check, you may enter answers such as audience type, need (loan, subsidy, scholarship, and so on), interest area, gender (optional), and social category (optional). We use these answers to rank schemes and show Strong / Partial / Unlikely fit labels against published criteria we have curated.
These answers are processed to generate results for your session. We do not require an account to run the check. Treat the check as a discovery tool — not as a government submission.
If you write to us, we receive the details you submit — typically your name, email address, and message. Use this channel for feedback, corrections, or partnership questions. Do not send passwords, OTPs, full Aadhaar numbers, or sensitive third-party data through the form.
Like most websites, our servers may record technical information such as IP address, browser type, device hints, timestamps, and pages requested. We use this to keep the site reliable, diagnose errors, and protect against abuse.
We use essential cookies / local storage to run secure forms and remember your cookie preference. Optional analytics load only if you choose Accept all. Details are in our Cookie Policy.
We do not use eligibility answers to build advertising profiles for sale to third parties.
Where data-protection concepts apply, we generally process information because:
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited information with trusted service providers who help us host the site, send or receive email, or (only with consent) measure aggregate analytics. They process data on our instructions and are not free to use it for their own unrelated marketing.
We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect users and the integrity of the service. Official scheme applications happen on third-party government or bank websites under their own privacy policies — Vedica does not control those flows.
Contact messages are kept as long as reasonably needed to reply, follow up on catalogue corrections, and handle disputes or abuse. Server logs are kept for a limited operational period for security and reliability. Browser-side eligibility answers typically last for your session or until you clear site data.
If you want us to delete contact-form data you sent, write to us via Contact and we will handle the request where we can identify the records.
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect information we hold. No website can promise perfect security. Please use official portals for applications, and never share OTPs or passwords with anyone claiming to “register you on Vedica.”
Vedica is a general public information site. Guardians should supervise use by minors. Pages about schemes involving children (for example certain savings or education schemes) are informational only — applications still happen on official channels under their rules.
Vedica is designed for people interested in Indian Central schemes. If you access the site from outside India, your information may be processed on servers or tools located in other countries, subject to this policy and applicable law.
We may update this policy as Vedica grows or as legal requirements change. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you should review the new text.
