Vedica.ai exists to make Central Government schemes easier to discover and understand. That mission only works if we are honest about what we are — and what we are not. This disclaimer is part of that honesty.

Vedica is not a government website

Vedica.ai is an independent public guide. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by the Government of India, any State or UT government, any ministry or department, any public sector bank, or any scheme implementing agency.

The presence of official scheme names, ministry references, or links to government portals does not mean Vedica is an official channel. Always treat government websites and notified guidelines as the source of truth for applications.

Informational use only

Everything on Vedica — including scheme summaries, benefits text, eligibility notes, FAQs, document checklists, Strong / Partial / Unlikely fit labels, verification dates, and reference links — is provided for general information and discovery. It is not:

  • Legal advice
  • Financial, tax, or investment advice
  • A government notification or circular
  • A bank credit decision
  • A substitute for reading official guidelines on the apply portal

No guarantee of eligibility or approval

Vedica never claims that you are approved, sanctioned, shortlisted, or entitled to a benefit. Fit labels are indicative matches against published criteria as curated by Vedica. They can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong for your specific case.

Final decisions rest solely with the concerned government department, bank, Nodal Agency, or implementing body after their own KYC, verification, and policy checks. Outcomes can include delay, rejection, partial benefit, or conditions that do not appear in a short web summary.

Always verify on official sources

Scheme rules change. Portals move. Document lists expand. Income limits and windows get revised. Before you apply, travel, pay a facilitator, or share documents with anyone, double-check the latest details on:

  • The official apply / scheme portal linked on the scheme page
  • The latest guidelines PDF or ministry FAQ, where available
  • Your bank or implementing agency’s current product instructions, for credit-linked schemes

If Vedica and an official source disagree, follow the official source.

Document checklists are indicative

Checklists on Vedica are compiled from guidelines and portals to help you prepare. Banks, States, ULBs, and field offices may ask for additional or different papers. Absence of a document on our list does not mean it will never be required.

Third-party websites and people

Links to ministry sites, bank pages, PDFs, and related catalogues are provided for convenience. Vedica does not control those websites and is not responsible for their content, uptime, fees, or privacy practices.

Vedica is also not responsible for agents, cyber cafés, or third parties who claim they can “get you approved” using our name. Do not share OTPs or pay anyone for a fake Vedica registration.

Verification status is not a warranty

When a scheme page shows a verification status or last-verified date, it means we reviewed available official materials around that time. It does not mean the scheme will never change, or that every edge case is covered forever.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vedica and its operators are not liable for any loss, expense, delay, rejection, opportunity cost, or other consequence arising from:

  • Use of or reliance on Vedica content
  • Application outcomes on official portals
  • Errors, omissions, or outdated information
  • Third-party sites linked from Vedica
  • Temporary unavailability of the Vedica website

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” See also our Terms of Use.

If you find a mistake

We care about accuracy. If you spot an outdated link, wrong document note, or unclear eligibility line, please tell us on the Contact page with the scheme name and a link to the official source. We would rather correct or pause a page than leave confusing information live.
