Why Vedica exists

India has hundreds of Central schemes — for farmers, students, women, workers, MSMEs, startups, housing, health, pensions, and more. Official information is usually available, but it is spread across ministry portals, PDFs, FAQs, and bank pages. For many people the first problem is not “where do I apply?” — it is “which schemes are even relevant to me, and what papers will I need?”

Vedica.ai is built for that first step. We help you discover and understand Central schemes faster, then send you to the official portal to apply. Think of Vedica as a careful guide, not a government counter.

What Vedica does

On Vedica you can browse verified Central schemes by category, search by name or need, and run a free eligibility check. For each scheme we try to give you a practical short brief:

  • What the scheme is about, in plain language
  • Who it is generally meant for
  • An honest fit label — Strong, Partial, or Unlikely — based on published criteria (never “you are approved”)
  • A document checklist commonly mentioned in guidelines or portals
  • Direct links to the official apply page and guidelines where available

Final eligibility, sanction, subsidy, loan decision, and disbursement always stay with the department, bank, or implementing agency. Vedica does not process applications and does not collect money for “guaranteed” results.

How the eligibility check stays honest

Many tools stop at a list. Some go further and say “you are eligible” in a way that feels like a stamp of approval. We deliberately do not do that.

Your answers help us rank schemes that may fit published rules. A Strong fit means your profile aligns well with what we have coded from official criteria. Partial means some conditions may still need checking. Unlikely means the scheme is probably a poor match for the answers you gave. These labels are indicative discovery aids — not certifications, bank sanctions, or government decisions.

How we curate schemes

We focus on Central Government schemes that we can verify from official portals, operational guidelines PDFs, PIB releases, or ministry pages. Every live scheme page shows verification status and a last-verified date so you can see that someone has checked sources — not that the content will stay frozen forever.

If a scheme window has ended, successor rules are unclear, or official sources conflict, we prefer to hold the scheme out of the live catalogue until it is clear. That means Vedica may list fewer schemes than a raw scrape of every government page — on purpose.

State and UT schemes are not the focus of the current catalogue. We may expand later, but Central schemes come first so the guide stays accurate and useful.

Who Vedica is for

Vedica is for anyone in India who wants a calmer starting point before opening a government form:

  • Citizens and families looking at social security, health cover, maternity, housing, or savings schemes
  • Farmers and rural workers checking income support, insurance, or livelihood pathways
  • Students and parents exploring education-related Central schemes
  • Women and girls looking for women-focused programmes
  • MSMEs, artisans, street vendors, and founders who need a shortlist before talking to a bank or portal

What Vedica is not

  • Not a Government of India website, ministry portal, or CSC franchise
  • Not affiliated with myScheme, DigiLocker, UIDAI, or any bank
  • Not an application processor, loan aggregator, or paid “approval agent”
  • Not a guarantee of eligibility, subsidy, loan sanction, or benefit release
  • Not a replacement for reading official guidelines on the apply portal

Our commitment

Vedica’s job is to reduce confusion, not to create false certainty. If something on a scheme page looks outdated or incomplete, tell us on the Contact page — we would rather correct or pause a page than leave people guessing.
